Our individual health insurance plans offer comprehensive coverage for individuals and families. Choose from a range of plans that fit your budget and needs.
All plan will be guaranteed issue regardless of any pre-existing medical conditions. Health plans will be categorized by metal tiers: Bronze 60%, Silver 70%, Gold 80% and Platinum 90%.
Medi-Cal Assistance: The State of California will cover people under age 65, including people with disabilities, with incomes of less than $21,870 for a single individual and $45,000 for a family of four. The coverage is free for those who qualify.
Premium Assistance and Cost-Sharing Subsidies: These are available through Covered California to help lower the cost of your health coverage when you meet certain income requirements and do not have affordable health insurance from an employer or a government program that meets minimum coverage requirements.

An HMO requires you to choose a Primary Care Physician (PCP). You will need to see your PCP first for most healthcare needs. Your PCP will refer you to a specialist in their medical group if they think it is necessary.
A PPO has a network of providers that you can access with better benefits, but also allows you to use medical providers outside the plan’s network with greater individual cost sharing without a referral.
An EPO has a network of providers that you can access without a referral. It is more flexible than an HMO plan and less flexible than a PPO plan.
Larry graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He started his career as a CPA with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. now known as KPMG in the audit department of the San Diego office.
As with many CPAs with large firms, Larry transitioned to become the Controller for one of Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co.’s clients. He also worked as the Controller and Chief Financial Officer for two other companies in San Diego while increasing his responsibilities and career.
After 10 years as a Controller and Chief Financial Officer, Larry decided that he wanted to be in business for himself. He also wanted to make sure that his financial background, which he was very proud of, would be considered an asset in his next venture. In 1990, Larry decided on the Financial Services Industry. Here his CPA experience would be helpful with Business, Retirement and Estate planning and his Controller and CFO experience would allow him to better understand how to help companies with their employee benefits and retirement plans.
He has continued his education in the fields of insurance and financial services and earned the designations of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) in 2003 and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) in 2007 both from the American College. In 2013, Larry became a Certified Healthcare Reform Specialist to better serve his clients as a resource for this ever-changing law.
His civic involvements include:
· Past Solana Beach Chamber of Commerce Board Member
· 25-year member of the Torrey Pines Kiwanis. Here he was in charge of cash management each year during their major fund raiser, The La Jolla Festival of the Arts.
· 25-year member of the San Diego County Honorary Deputy Sheriff’s Association
· Since 2020 has volunteered as one of the starters for the Farmers Insurance Open PGA Golf Tournament at Torrey Pines
Michael Luchetti was born in Santa Fe, NM and has lived in San Diego for the past 35 years. He joined the company as an Administrative Assistant in 2003 while studying at the University of Redlands. He has worked in every aspect of our operations while learning the industry and servicing client needs. Throughout the years he has grown with the company and has become an integral & licensed partner. He has a passion for cooking & travelling and a love for family, music & cats.
